Temptation

It's time for another challenge at Sassy Studio Designs and this week we are doing "Feeling Funny" since April Fools Day is getting closer.  I'm not really good with funny but here is what I came up with.  I have colored Samantha with my Copics and I did love the paper piecing so I gave it another try and did her dress in paper piecing.  She looks just like she is telling us the line "Don't lead me into temptation, I find enough on my own." I have used a Lea'bilities die and added a flower and papers from my stash.

Happy Easter

It's Monday and time for a new challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and this week we are doing "Anything But a Card."  We have 3 sponsors this time and they are SK Digis, Meljen's Designs, and Bugaboo Stamps.  First I have done a page layout using 'Fluffy Bunny' from Meljen's Designs.  I have colored the bunny with Copics.  I also colored 'Bunch of Eggs from Eureka.'  It's mounted on papers from my stash, and a computer generated title was added along with a few flowers that I added Stickles to and a ribbon and bow.  This is my grand daughter decorating Easter Egg Cookies with her mom's help, a couple of years ago.  I am a little behind on the scrap books since I went to card making.

I will be entering this layout in the following challenges...
For my second project I have made a tag that could be either a bottle tag or as I'm using it today as a candy tag.  I have done a CAS look with this one.  I have colored the Bugaboo - Scene It - Easter image with Copics, added the greeting, a pink ribbon bow, and a layer of pink card stock  all from my stash and that is it.  I slipped the bag of M&Ms through the hole that I punched with a Stampin' Up punch and this is a quick Easter Gift.

Now head on over the Tammy's Scrapin Corner and see what the rest of the DT has created and join in the challenge.  I will be entering this tag in the following challenges.

Spring

Happy Sunday to everyone.  The first day of spring has arrived even though it was pretty cold here on the first day of spring, we are beginning to see signs it's here.  The piles of snow around the house are starting to melt and we have seen the robins start to return.  This image looks like spring to me.  It is called "Marigolds & Morpho" and is from Fred She Said and it's colored with Copics and fussy cut it out.  It's time for another challenge at Come & Get It, and the challenge is to use the sketch provided.  I used a couple Spellbinder oval dies and a Martha Stewart punch.  I made a bow with some ivory ribbon from my stash and some flowers from Recollection.

Stop over at the Come and get It site and see what the rest of the DT has created and join in the challenge.  Thanks for looking and have a great day.   I will be entering this card in the following challenges...

Happy Easter

It's time for another challenge at Platypus Creek Digitals and this time we are making "Anything but a card for Easter."  I have used  the 'Easter Egg Set' and I had so much fun decorating these eggs, and my fingers didn't even get stained.  I have made a topper for a treat bag and didn't even use my favorite coloring tools.  I just added embellishments and Stickles for the glitter and I had this flock that I thought I needed a long time ago and this is the first time I used it, I should have used more of it.  I love the way that turned out and will be using it again soon.

Stop over at the Platypus Creek Digitals and see what the rest of the DT has created, and join in the challenge; you have 2 weeks to get your project entered.  Thanks for looking and have a great.  I will be entering the following challenges...

It's time for another challenge at Come and Get It and this week's challenge is "Baby Cards."  I have used a Mo Mannings image called "Spit Happens" and its colored with Copics.  I love pink so of course I did a baby girl card.  I have added paper roses that I touched with Stickles.  There are rhinestones and feathers around the flowers.  The die cut is from Marianne Designs and I cut it about to make it work for my card, and the sentiment is computer generated and the font is BallPark.

It's time for a new challenge at Sassy Studio Designs and this week we are "Seeing Green" and celebrating St. Patrick's Day.  I have used Lager Sassy and colored her with Copics and used plenty of green.  In our area we celebrate by having green beer.  I  have punched shamrocks in my background card stock and the layer behind is showing through. A Martha Stewart punch was used on the greeting.  I did have fun with the greeting.  I made a bow from my stash for the finishing touch and another card finished.

Add a Shamrock

It's time for a new challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and this week's challenge is to 'Add Shamrocks'.  Our sponsors are SK Digis and Milk n Coffee Digital Stamps.  I have 2 cards and the first 1 is 'Madelin with Retro Outfit' from Milk n Coffee Digital Stamps and I have colored her with Copics.   This image took me right back to the 1970's; I guess that gives an indication of my age.  She was so fun to color and I think I actually owned an outfit just like this only in purple, but I have been loving the green and yellow combination lately.  Back to my card;  I used a couple of dies, the lace oval is from Marianne Designs and the scallop oval behind it is from Spellbinders.  My shamrocks are punched with a Martha Stewart punch.  I really liked the background papers together until the photo was taken and now I'm wishing I had changed my mind with the striped paper but it's done now.

I will be entering the following challenges with this card...
Great Impressions- Going Green
Red Carpet Studio - 2 shades of Green
Marianne Designs - Favorite Colors
Scrappy Frogs - Green/St. Pat's Day
Card Makin Mamas - Green
Glitter and Sparkle - St. Patrick's /Green
Pan Pastel - Anything Goes
Dilly Beans - Green
Simply Create Too - St Pats/Green

And my second card uses this cute 'Snail with Ladybug' image from SK Digis and is also colored with Copics.  I used some papers from Recollections and added a computer generated greeting that is punch with a Stampin' Up punch and the shamrocks are from that same Martha Stewart punch.  This was a fun image that would be great to used for a  kid's card.

Take at look at Tammy's Scrapin Corner and see what the rest of the DT has created and join in the challenge.  I will enter this card in the following challenges...  Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Time to Party

It's time for a new challenge at Come & Get It and this week it's "Recycling."  I have 2 items that are recycled on this card.  First the pink plaid card stock is the packaging from a bottle of cologne that my grand daughter received for Christmas and I thought it was too pretty to throw away.  The other item is the flowers that were the table decor (scattered on the table) from a birthday party.  I have used French Maid from Sassy Studio Designs and colored her with Copics.
Stop over and Come and Get it and see what the rest of the DT has created and join in the cahllenge.  Thanks for looking and have a great day.

For the One I Love

It's Monday and time for another challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner.  This week our sponsor is QKR Stampede and I have choose an image called "Turtle in Love" and colored it with Copics.    The challenge this week is to use red and green and add a bow.  I have used the Romantic Rectangles die from Spellbinders and cut it several times from white cardstock.  I had used the largest size when I cut my image, and I wanted another layer.  I very carefully pieced together the extra pieces and made a larger frame.   If you look really close you can may see where it's joined but most of the seams are hidden under the ribbon.  Who wouldn't want to receive this pretty card from someone they love?

Stop by Tammy's Scrapin Corner and see what the rest of the DT has created and join in the challenge.  I will be entering this card in the following challenges....

Happy House Warming

It's time for another challenge at Come & Get It and this week its "Anything but a Card," and the sponsor is Bugaboo.  I have made a Wine Bottle Tag.  I have used the Scene It - Ladybugs image and colored it with Copics.  I have punched a circle with a 1-1/2 inch punch, added a house warming greeting, and a couple of rhinestones for a little bling.  Then tied a ribbon with a button onto it and punched a couple of butterflies with an EK Success 3 step punch.  Then I added my tag to this awesome bottle of wine I brought back with me from North Carolina.  While I was in Dunn, North Carolina, I visited this family owned winery, Enoch Winery, and I had a little tour and a few samples.  I brought a couple of bottles of this wine home.  It was delicious, and makes a wonderful house warming gift.  If your in that area you might want to check it out.   Thanks for looking and have a great day.

I am entering the following challenges...
