QKR Stampede Challenge #175 Feeling Blue

QKR Stampede has a new challenge and this week the challenge is  "Feeling Blue."  I have used "2303 Tropical Fish 16213 I'm Hooked" and colored with Copics. I have made a shaker card by adding the acetate from packaging behind the outside layer and putting the colored image behind. I used some micro beads and glitter for the shaker and thin double sided tape so the shaker area is not very thick. The sentiment is cut out using a Stamping' Up punch.  I was wishing I had added a fishing hook in the shaker area, but wouldn't want anyone to get hurt, so I guess it's good this way.

Eureka Stamps Challenge #176 Pile It On

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Pile It On."  I have colored this great image  18802(519) Girl Graduate with Copics and a little white jelly roll pen, then cut her out. I have used plenty of STUFF on this card. I started with black decorative tape then a few layers of cardstock. The Congrats is a die from Lawn Fawn and the Grad set is from Cherry Lynn. The background is embossed using a folder from Stampin' Up and a few stars were added to finish it.

As a second thought I decided to add some flowers to the corners, not sure which version I like the best.

A Stampin Up happy birthday & die was used for the lower Happy Birthday and the inside Happy Birthday is a stamp I've had so long the manufacture name is worn off.

Eureka Stamps Challenge #175 Use Something New

Eureka Stamps has a new challenge and this week it's "Use Something New."  I have printed these great images  39904 Babies are a Gift 40101 Baby Feet and added them to my card. My baby carriage die from Marianne Designs is new and I also have just learned to use my die to cut to the size I want by not running it completely through my machine and making sure to line it up correctly and I got really lucky to have it cut my background made from a Spellbinders die to the size I wanted. I did use a bow and a couple of gems to finish up this card.

He is mounted on gray cardstock and another cardstock that has a grey wood grain. Then I added a Happy Birthday die cut using an Elizabeth Crafts die. The lasso is twine and the boots and horse shoe are sewing embellishments I found in a clearance bin for almost nothing. On the inside I have a computer generated sentiment that I printed on the same wood grain cardstock.
